Global Fire & Security Attend Cedabond Showcase

2 October 2025

Global Fire & Security were delighted to attend the recent Cedabond Showcase, held at the Leonardo Hotel Leicester on Tuesday 23 September. Representing our team were colleagues David Hathway and Jack Wilcockson, who joined industry peers for a day dedicated to conversation and connection.

As proud Cedabond members, Global Fire & Security benefit from the opportunity to engage with over 150 leading businesses through Cedabond’s programme of regional meetings and events. These partnerships continue to strengthen our connections within the industry, driving both collaboration and growth.

The Showcase provided an excellent platform for David and Jack to meet with existing partners and establish new relationships. Throughout the day, discussions focused on industry developments, best practices, and the latest solutions in fire and security.

During the exhibition, Jack also delivered valuable insights into the importance of ensuring Ansul Kitchen Fire Extinguishing Systems are fully compliant. In particular, he highlighted the need for systems to have a functioning shutdown facility – a critical interlock feature designed to ensure maximum safety and compliance.

For businesses uncertain whether their Ansul system includes the interlock feature, we recommend visiting our Ansul Interlock FAQs for further information or contact us via our contact page below.
